As we said earlier, you must solve many riddles and puzzles as you progress through Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose. One of them is waiting for you in the Hall of Ablution, and it’s relatively easy to solve. As soon as you find yourself in the room, you will see four statues standing at different ends of the room, and one torch is burning above each of these. In addition, at the end of the room, there is a painting with a clue.

To solve the puzzle, you must interact with each statue in the correct subsequence. Statue will move closer to the wall if you do the right choice, and the torch will not go out. If you make a mistake, the torch will go out, and all the statues will return to their original position. So to complete the Statue Puzzle in Resident Evil Village: Shadows of Rose, you must interact with the statues in the following subsequence:

  • Strangled Statue of Rose
  • Sword-pierced Statue of Rose
  • Devoured Mutamycete Statue of Rose
  • Arrow-pierced Statue of Rose

Once you do this, you will complete the puzzle. After that, you will get a cut scene with the door opening on the floor. And you will be able to move on through the plot of the DLC.
