The holiday season is right around the corner, which means that many video game sales are on the way. For PC gamers, the star of the show is the Steam sale. The sales always have massive discounts on thousands of titles, so PC gamers can stock up on the cheap. Before the year comes to a close, the two upcoming Steam sales include the Autumn sale, and Valve has announced dates for both along with the changes to the schedule for 2023.
Steam Sale Schedule
- Autumn Sale – November 22-29
- Winter Sale – December 22-January 5
- Spring Sale – March 16-23, 2023
The Steam Autumn Sale will take place from November 22-29. As expected, the sale coincides with Thanksgiving and Black Friday, so gamers will have a lot of time to shop at steam and other retailers. This is the perfect time for this considering how PC parts, laptops, etc. will get significant discounts during Black Friday.
The week-long Autumn Sale is usually very good, but it is only second to the Winter Sale only a month later. This year’s Winter Sale takes place from December 22 to January 5. Giving gamers a whole two weeks to browse and buy the best deals on offer.
The Winter Sale has the same level of discounts as the Summer Sale, and is equally huge. So it will be the last chance to buy PC games for cheap this year. With Valve promising to deliver all Steam Decks on time, most gamers won’t have to wait long, and should have their Decks by December. Steam Deck owners can expect a ton of discounts on Steam Deck Verified titles across the board.
Valve has also announced an upcoming change to its annual Steam sale schedule. From next year onwards, the Lunar New Year Sale will be taking a back seat, with the Spring Sale taking its place. This means that all four major Steam Sales will be based on the four seasons from now on. Next year’s Spring Sale will take place from March 16-23.
