Steam just released a promotional video for its Halloween Scream Fest sale which showed some of the games that will get discounts during the sale. The event will take place from today (October 25) to November 1, and some really great indie gems are being included. But for those who don’t want horror games, titles like Thymesia are also on sale.

Steam Halloween Sale Scream Fest

The astute among you may have already noticed that a lot of games that are on sale are co-op horror games. And that is perfect for this time of year, as you will be able to get together with friends online to get into all sorts of supernatural spooky trouble. Many people play scary games on their own, and while that is a great experience in itself, some people prefer more company, as not all horror gamers are that hardcore. The Halloween Steam Sale will be the best place to get your hands on the right games you can play with your friends.

Even though Epic Games is great for PC titles, there’s no denying that Steam is still the place to be when it comes to buying games on sale. Valve’s marketplace has set the bar very high, which even companies like Sony and Microsoft have a hard time keeping up with. Steam recently hit its record number of users, and earlier this year, it hit its max number of players as well. Along with that, the Steam Deck is as popular as ever, and Valve is finally able to meet its demands.
