This year’s Steam Next Fest is happening soon, meaning hundreds of exciting indie game trials. You might already be anticipating a few independent titles; the fest will be where details appear, and other interesting ones will be put forward. There isn’t so much space to help indie developers help to promote their games. Steam is one of the biggest portals promoting indie games, thanks to the Next Fest happening yearly. Most indie games don’t have the source to promote their game everywhere, but some are actually masterpieces. Steam Next Fest will feature live streams, free game demos, and updates for a few days. Here are the details about the upcoming event.

Steam Next Fest To Bring Free Indie Game Trials

The event is set to start February 6-13, beginning at 10 am PST / 1 pm EST / 6 pm GMT / 7 pm CET (February 7 at 5 am AEDT). You can head up to the page here and save the date. You can choose between getting an e-mail or mobile notification and adding it to the calendar applications. Most of the game trials will be only playable through the event, so don’t miss the dates if you’re planning to play a few demos.

This isn’t the only Next Fest we will see this year; Steam also confirmed a second event in October. We also expect good things there, but our focus is the following week’s event. There will be thousands of games introducing new stuff, and a few games already known will appear too.

Another good thing about the fest is that it allows you to chat with the game developers. In a scenario, you played and liked a game, and then you can join discussions about the game. The developers will be on live streams on their pages and answering questions on the community threads.
