Video game company Spike Chunsoft announced that it will release the Chaos;Head Noah game on Valve’s Steam. The company will continue to release the game on Steam after Valve reversed its decision to allow the game on the platform. Instead of building up to the release, the platform has decided to release Chaos;Head Noah on Friday, October 7th.

The game will feature Japanese voice acting and English subtitles Chaos;Head  is a visual novel that originally debuted in Japan in 2008. It was later released on Xbox 360, Playstation Portable, PlayStation Vita, and smartphone. A television anime based on the game was aired in Japan in 2008. Funimation later released the anime on DVD and Blu-Ray in 2011.

The Chaos;Head Noah Game: A Lot of Content for a Release

Steam recently decided that it will not allow the game on its platform based on its guidelines and the game’s content. Spike Chunsoft reported that Valve gave the game the following statement regarding Chaos;Head Noah; 

Now, with the game’s page being live, it now features a mature content warning. The trailer for the game also shows some of the content, which features gory and bloody depictions of the game’s characters. The story for Chaos;Head Noah is described as;

With this release, the Chaos;Head Noahame will be in a “Double Pack” for Nintendo Switch. The steel book edition of the Double Pack will include Bonus Costume DLCs for the characters.

At the time of this article, the Chaos;Head Noah game is still locked for another 12 hours on Steam.
