The Steam Summer Sale 2019 is upon us! This year the summer sale begins June 25, 2019, to July 9, 2019. Plenty of PC games, ranging in the thousands are available right now for discounted prices. These markdowns are on new games and some goodies as well. A brief list of the many games for the Steam Summer Sale 2019 is available at the end of this article. 

This year’s theme for the Steam Summer Sale 2019 is all about racing. The Grand Prix theme also comes with a Grand Prix mini-game that players can play to earn points to get cool items at the Pit Stop. These redeemable items include things like emoticons and profile backgrounds. To get going on this mini-game, players will need to choose between five teams and complete diverse Grand Prix quests to earn those points. Once earned players then receive Boosts for their team. Boosts are essentially a way to get further ahead in the race for your team. Random members of the team who come in first, second, and third will receive their top game on their respective wishlists for free. Time to clean out those wishlists and make sure the game you want is on top. 

If you don’t participate in the Grand Prix mini-game, that’s alright as the sale is for everyone regardless of the mini-game. These games on the list are too good to pass on this year! It makes sense that Steam would be willing to bring all the big names in recent games to this sale. As more and more games are being exclusively kept on the Epic Store. The Epic Store themselves have come out with their own summer sale, dubbed the Epic Mega Sale. Their discounts could very well bring players away from the Steam store.
