Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is mere weeks away, but the team at Square Enix continues to lead up to the game’s release with tidbits of information. Now, the team behind Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin offers some insight into the game’s enemies.
The Stranger of Paradise Twitter account announced on Mar. 8, 2022, that some familiar enemy types would return in the latest entry to the Final Fantasy franchise. The enemy that appeared in the latest video from Square Enix was the Bomb. These explosive enemies are known to use their iconic move, Self-Destruct, once they’ve taken enough damage to injure unsuspecting players, which you can see in the official video below:
The foes may be familiar this time around, but there are some stylish new animations for characters like Jack to take them out in battle. The above trailer highlights the unique animation of the protagonist using magic to crystallize these dangerous enemies before they can explode.
Bombs aren’t the only returning enemies that Square Enix has shown lately, as the titular Flan has made an appearance on social media this week as well:
