Earlier this week, popular multiplayer game Dead by Daylight developers announced that it will be bringing Stranger Things’ world of the Upside Down to the game universe. The Critically acclaimed Netflix series partnership with Dead by Daylight comes with a new stage in The Upside Down version of Hawkins, Indiana, Characters Steve and Nancy, and Of course, newest killer The Demogorgon. Viewers of the show will recognize the new stage as the underground laboratory nestled under the small town of Hawkins.
For those of who that haven’t heard of this game, Dead by Daylight is an online multiplayer game where 5 players play as survivors running from another player who plays as the killer. The developers put in there own creations but over the years have included famous movie slashers such as Freddy Kruger, Leatherface, and Jigsaw to the killer roster. The goal for the survivors is to try to find a way to hide and escape from the killer as the player killer tries to sacrifice all the survivors to the mysterious being known as The Entity.
The newest addition to the Dead by Daylight is the untamable and virtually unstoppable Demogorgon. The Demogorgon has been one of the main antagonists in the Stranger Things since the beginning of the show. Not much is know at the moment what the new killers’ special abilities will be when the DLC launches. The new survivors will be familiar to fans of the show as Steve Harrington, former jock and bully in the first season that turned into one of the series most beloved protagonists. And Nancy Wheeler, one of the main protagonists of the show, a no-nonsense aspiring journalist who will do anything to break a new story.
The newest additions to Dead by Daylight have been announced for September 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
