Stranger Things Season 4 has narrowed down its release window to Summer 2022. This is compared to the first announcement in August, when the new season would be released sometime in 2022. With Stranger Things Day, a teaser unveiled all the episode titles in Season 4. At the end of the teaser, we got our updated release window.

The new trailer that was also released during Stranger Things Day focused on Eleven and the Byers family during their life away from Hawkins. The teaser ended with Eleven promising in a letter to Mike that they “will have the best spring break ever.” This promise is then accompanied by shots of soldiers, gunfire, and more action.

Possibilities for Stranger Things Season 4

The series’ previous season was released on July 4, 2019. That season’s storyline focused on the characters enjoying the summer time, while also being taken over in secret by the Mind Flayer and the Soviet Union. So far, only trailers and announcements have been the only thing to hold fans over for the three-year wait.

On top of the upcoming Season 4, Harbour discussed how the season will have four-story arcs throughout the overall narrative. This Comic-Con talk also confirmed that this season will delve into Eleven’s backstory and her connection to Dr. Martin Brenner. So far, only one of Eleven’s adopted siblings has been seen in Season 2’s episode “The Lost Episode.”

Other story arcs that could be explored include the one centered around the Creel House. Another could be focused on Hopper’s time in a Russian prison and eventually escaping. Harbour also promised that many of the questions that fans had in and prior to Season 3 will be answered in the upcoming seasons.
