In the feline-centered video game Stray from the Annapurna Interactive and BlueTwelve Studio, you play as a stray cat finding its way home from a neon-lit, grimy, cyberpunk city. As you explore the decaying cybercity, you’ll come across a number of locked Doors that hinders your progress as well as Safes that hid rewards for completionists. In total, there are four Door and/or Safe Codes that you can find in-game in Stray.

Stray Chapter 3: “The Flat” Door Code

Safe Code: 3748

How to find the Code and/or Safe:

You need to open this door to make your way into the next chapter, so you can’t miss this one. That being said, you still have to look for the Code. To find the Flat Digicode, simply turn right into the small room just before the locked door and Digipad. You should find it written on the whiteboard (or a mirror? I’m not sure) on top of a shelf. Knock the can in front of the board/mirror to reveal the whole Code.

Stray Game Chapter 4: “The Slums” Safe Code

Safe Code: 1283

On a pile of trash in an alley just to the left of the steel roll door (near the guitar-playing robot Morusque), there’s a Safe. Interact with it to pick up the Safe’s Mysterious Password. You’ll need to show it to Elliot; scratch the door that’s plastered with numbers and circuit diagrams to get inside his room. He’ll tell you that it’s a binary code that reads as “DUFER BAR.” The answer is obvious, then. Head to Dufer Bar, hop on the table, and interact with the painting above the DUFER BAR neon sign.

The painting will fall down and reveal the Safe Code. This Safe contains the eighth Music Sheet that you’ll need if you want to get the Meowlody Achievement/Trophy.

Stray Chapter 6: “The Slums Part 2” Door Code

Safe Code: 2511

You can find this Safe when you get to the part where you’re working with Seamus to look for Doc’s secret lab. Jump onto the table, then interact with the robot painting below the light or to the right of the beach painting. You’ll reveal the hidden Digipad. Just turn your camera to the left and look at all the short hands of the four clocks on the wall above the sofa, therein lies the answer.

Stray Game Chapter 10: “Midtown” Safe Code

Safe Code: 8542

This optional Safe can be found inside the electronics store (the one with the angry robot Paoudre) on the top shelf. Get behind the counter, and interact with the paper adorning the store’s partition, which reads “2458: edoC.” Then climb the shelves starting from the shortest one just beside the paper, until you reach the Safe. Enter the Code backward. This Safe contains the Cat Badge that you’ll need if you want to get the Badges Achievement/Trophy.
