It should come to no one’s surprise that Stray, the feline adventure title from Annapurna and BlueTwelve, is taking the world by storm. Many players are jumping into the game and working through its story, hoping to bring the outside world back to those who find themselves trapped. As you progress through the game, you’ll come across a point where you’ll need a cassette tape to distract a store clerk and get a worker jacket. If you’re having trouble figuring out where to get it, we’re here to help. In this guide, we’ll explain how to find the cassette tape to progress in Stray.

How to Find the Cassette Tape in Stray

First things first, if you’re still searching the store and the area around it, you’re wasting your time. Instead, you’ll want to head through Midtown until you find an apartment complex with three robots walking around its central courtyard (you also needed to go here to find your new friend Clementine). Once there, speak with the one robot sitting down and he’ll offer the cassette tape, but requires you help before he gives it to you. The security in the area has been ruining his and the other two robot’s fun, so he wants the three security cameras in the area destroyed. In case you’re having trouble finding these security cameras in Stray, check the below three images for guidance.

The first security camera can be found by heading to the second floor and finding this door. Simply jump on the items to the side, jump on and off the camera, and it will be destroyed. The second security camera can be found hanging above the three robots. Jumping onto the railings above, down onto the ventilation, then onto and off the camera will do it.

The final security camera in Stray is also just above the three robots. Jumping onto the railing, onto the sign, then on and off the camera will do it.
