Stray may have only been released just a few short days ago, yet players are already blazing through its short and sweet adventure. Whether looking for all secrets or blazing to the finish line, Stray itself can take anywhere from four to six hours to complete so it’s only natural. As many are blazing through, some of you may be having trouble completing the Control Room level of the game, conveniently the final one available among all chapters. If you’re having trouble as well, no need to worry. In this guide, we’ll explain exactly what to do in the Control Room in Stray!

What to Do in the Control Room in Stray

While we normally would do a full walkthrough of the level, 90% of you are here for a specific part so we won’t waste your time. Presuming that you’ve ascended to the control room door, moved the robot box in place, helped B-12 open the door, and turned on all the screens, you now are met with a screen showing three locks, and three lock screens around the room. Since this is likely where you got stuck, allow us to explain. Each of these terminals has a panel that must be opened up, followed by wires that need to be scratched to end the lockdown. Since you may be confused about any of the three, we’ve provided a step-by-step guide for each below along with a picture.

The first of the three terminals, located in the front left corner (if looking out the window), can be opened by going up onto the platform shown and scratching the wires.

The second of the three terminals, located in the back left corner, can be opened by pushing the metal plate down then scratching at the newly revealed wires.

The final terminal, located in the front right corner, can be opened by taking off the panel pictured with the circle, then scratching at the wires.

Doing this to all three terminals should lead you to complete the main objective, the rest of which being straightforward. Hope you enjoy the ending of Stray!

Stray is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
