The Street Fighter 6 release date was just revealed tonight during The Game Awards. According to the trailer, it will be released on June 2nd.

Street Fighter is one of the most prestigious fighting game sagas in history. So it is no surprise that everything related to Street Fighter 6 unleashes great expectations among fans. We just have a lot of expectations (or hype or whatever you prefer to call it) with this new title.

The game was officially announced in February and had an expected release window of 2023. Some recent financial reports from Capcom had already hinted that it was possible that the date, however, was closer than we thought.

In addition, the official date of the game’s second closed beta was announced last week. It will be held between December 16 and 19, and you can sign up at this link. If you already had access to the first closed beta, you will automatically have access to the second one.

Earlier today, the fighting game was leaked through the PlayStation Store. It seems it was updated ahead of time on Sony’s store. The slip revealed that Street Fighter 6 will hit stores on June 2nd, 2023, with 3 different digital editions, Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate.

A previously unknown Twitter account under the alias BestBrosPlay made the discovery. To give veracity to the discovery, he published both images and a video in which he navigates through the store showing three game editions.
