Those who got a chance to check out the labor of love that turned out to be Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, which was made by fans of the videogame series were pretty impressed that they did better in just about every account, than Hollywood. Now comes news from San Diego Comic Con that the web series will be getting a follow up.
Straight from San Diego Comic Con, the production team responsible for the Assassin’s Fist web-series announced their follow up, Street Fighter: World Warrior. News comes from Polygon that the next entry in the web-series will release sometime late 2015 or early 2016. So we are still a ways away from a release but that won’t stop fans from speculating and getting excited. The production team also divulged their plans for World Warrior, stating that it will introduce franchise characters such as Guile, Chun-Li, Sagat and M. Bison’s Shadaloo organization will play a role as well.
Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist is set to release October 28th in North America and Europe. It will release sometime in November in Japan.
