Following Stuart Margolin’s death, he was survived by a brother, Arnold. He also left stepsons, Max and Christopher Martini, his third wife, Pat, and her daughter Michelle Martini.

His family surrounded him at the time of his death. Stuart’s stepson, Max, penned a tribute to him on his Instagram page, where he extolled the late actor. Max also shared his lessons from his stepdad’s demise.

Stuart Was An Incredible Performer

The late Stuart Margolin is best known for his Emmy-winning role on The Rockford Files. He also appeared in episodes of Love, American Style, The Partridge Family, and The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

The talented entertainer won the Emmy award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 1979 in Los Angeles. He also won an Emmy in 1980 for his work on the popular NBC show.

Stuart was also famous for his role in the 1974 action film Death Wish. In the movie, Stuart played a developer who gives Charles Bronson’s character a tour of a gun range and then gives him a gun.

However, his career shot to the limelight when he played Evelyn “Angel” Martin on The Rockford Files. Angel helped private investigator Jim Rockford, played by James Garner, attain information for cases while sometimes getting Rockford in hot water.
