As players are eager to complete the Triumphs required for the new Iron Lord title, Destiny 2 has hit another roadblock. Earlier today, the service was impacted by an issue, knocking most Destiny 2 services offline. This resulted in many being disconnected from the game and losing access to many sites that rely on APIs provided by Bungie.

According to Bungie Help’s official Twitter account, this particular issue has been resolved. However, many Guardians are still unable to log in. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything players can do at this time, aside from being patient. The team at Bungie is working diligently to restore the service, and it will be up as soon as possible.

This past week has been tumultuous for Bungie and Destiny 2. Iron Banner was released with a new mode, Rift, and it wasn’t received very positively by the community. Throw in an assortment of bugs impacting progression in the mode and a particular Triumph requiring one to ignore team play, and things could definitely be better.

It’s never easy when a live service game goes down. This holds especially true when there’s a timed event in-game that is quickly coming to a close. Despite this, it’s prudent to remember that the team at Bungie are human, and they should be treated with kindness and respect.
