Lovers of mech anime or bright and colorful visuals that are sure to astound (think Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), you are surely in luck. Studio TRIGGER has released the US trailer for their first feature-length film, Promare. As announced in the trailer, select theatres will have special showings of the film this September.

The synopsis for Promare is as follows:

Studio TRIGGER and director Hiroyuki Imaishi are well established in the anime industry. Imaishi and Studio TRIGGER worked together on super popular animes like Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill, and the studio also put out the magical anime Little Witch Academia on Netflix. Fans of the titles listed above will definitely see some motifs (like mechs and blue-haired main characters) and stylistic choices in Promare which will seem familiar, and that makes this trailer all the more exciting.

Promare is set to release on September 17 and 19 and in select theatres on September 20, 2019, and it seems as though there will be showings of Promare happening across the country. Tickets are available for pre-order now. According to the ticketing websites, it seems as though the showings in the US will be dubbed instead of subbed.
