When people talk about the Superbowl, it is typically about two primary topics. The first topic is easily who is playing in the game and who might win. The second and arguably more important topic that comes to consumers’ minds is what ads will shock the world? During Super Bowl LIV, the world got to see a twig Jason Momoa, a Cheetos can’t touch this, and a thousand tide commercials. Easily one of the most shocking ads during Superbowl LIV was the Marvel Disney + commercial to tease Falcon & The Winter Soldier, Loki, and Wandavision.

The teaser trailer for WandaVision gave the world a sneak peek at what life could have been for Wanda and Vision if the events of Infinity War had not taken place. Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda/ Scarlet Witch) and Paul Bettany (Vision) will be reprising their roles as the two beloved heroes. The trailer depicted Vision and Wanda throughout different eras with Vision typically being in Black and White.

From the few seconds, we are able to see a variety of costumes on Elizabeth Olsen including the famous Scarlet Witch costume which is making its highly anticipated debut. One potential reason the costume is finally being utilized is Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox.

The Red outfit has become a symbol of Scarlet Witch early on in the franchise. The red headdress and cape would strike fear into those that opposed her. At the moment it is uncertain if this look will return to the Marvel cinematic; however, Olsen has stated that she is not interested in wearing the costume on a reoccurring basis. Luckily, Kevin Feige was able to address her concerns and put her mind at ease.
