Nintendo’s star-finding, princess-saving mascot has been on the scene for 35 years, and Nintendo wouldn’t let it pass without celebration! Super Mario 3D All-Stars, releasing later this year, is a 3D collection including Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Sunshine!

Super Mario 3D All-Stars features new, 3D graphics specifically optimized for the Nintendo Switch. Players can expect to see higher resolutions and modern takes on the classic gameplay. On top of the three classic games, the collection will also feature a music player mode that allows you to collect and play songs from across all three games.

Super Mario 64 was a launch title for the Nintendo 64 when it first released in 1996.  Super Mario Sunshine made a splash on Gamecube in 2002, and Super Mario Galaxy found an original home on the Wii in 2007.

Longtime fans of Mario have been speculating over the last few weeks as to whether or not Nintendo might have something up their sleeve to celebrate their mascot’s anniversary. A sort-of sneak release was speculated, but no one expected to see all three classics come in one Switch-approved package!

Super Mario 3D All-Stars is set to release on Nintendo Switch on September 18th, 2020. However, this collection is a limited release; it will only be available from September 2020 to March 2021! Pre-orders are available now for the digital edition priced at $59.99. Retail versions will also be available upon release.
