Super Mario Maker released nearly a month ago and has earned a lot of praise since its release. Nintendo has been pretty good as of recent with holding maintenance on its newer games, and they are doing so once again this week with not only Mario Maker, but a few others.

Nintendo has revealed that Super Mario Maker will be undergoing maintenance during a scheduled block starting tonight, October 5 at 8:00 pm ET and ending at 10:00 pm ET.

An hour before that, the even more recent Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer for 3DS is going to be having scheduled maintenance from 7:00 pm ET through 8:00 pm ET.

While these two can affect a lot of people in the US, the third game very likely won’t. That game is the critically panned Devil’s Third that has only released in Japan so far. However, if you have a Japanese Wii U and have imported the game or actually live in Japan, Devil’s Third will be undergoing maintenance between 8:00 pm ET to 11:00 pm ET.

With a game like Super Mario Maker undergoing maintenance, the big question then becomes whether we could be getting any sort of patch update for the game during that time as well. There were items found before in the game itself, such as the Super Mario Bros. 3 Sun, so it would be great to get some new items added like that, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
