Sega recently announced the release date for Super Monkey Ball 3D for the Nintendo 3DS. Super Monkey Ball 3D will be released just after the handheld on March 3, 2011. Super Monkey Ball 3D is set to be the first Monkey Ball title for the Nintendo 3DS and the first time your Monkey Ball favorites will be coming in 3D. With new modes like Monkey Race, Monkey Fight, and slew of other planned multiplayer content Super Monkey Boy has always been a game that keeps on giving.
Rumored multiplayer inclusions for the game are playable over the Nintendo WiFi connection for the device.
The release date mentioned above is the Japanese release date. No official announcement has been made for Super Monkey Ball 3D outside of Japan.
