One step closer to completion!

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania is such a challenging game. For those who are looking for a game to complete in its entirety, this will be just the one to do so. This game has a plethora of modes and levels to get into and grind challenges for. However, there is another component that needs some completing to do.

The Gallery is a typical kind of mode in a majority of video games that showcases things like cutscenes, credits, concept art, and more. SMB Banana Mania is no stranger to it. While the game does not have an extensive gallery like other games, it has movies, music, credits, and replays to look back on for completionists and people who like these sorts of features.

Starting off with the movies; there are 20 different movie cutscenes to unlock. They are all story mode related, so naturally, if you play it from start to finish, they’ll all be available in the gallery. There are 10 chapters in Banana Mania’s story mode, based off of Super Monkey Ball 2. For people who have played that game back in the Nintendo GameCube days, it should all be familiar.

The only difference between the cutscenes in this game compared to its original counterpart from 2001 is that they’re in a comic book-style visual. There are two movies for each chapter: one is from the beginning cutscene, and the next is from the chapter’s end.

Next is the music. To unlock all the music in this game, you’ll have to explore a majority of the different zones in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania. This means taking on a majority of the story mode, challenge modes, and special modes. Regions aren’t the same throughout the modes. Since the story is heavily based on the second game, that means levels and worlds from other games will be in places like the challenges and even the DX modes.

As for the replays, there isn’t anything needed here unless you manually save them in your game sessions. Finally, the credits are unlocked from the start.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania will be out on October 5, 2021. Deluxe Edition pre-orders of the game will allow people to start playing on October 1. The game will be out on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Series S/X, PlayStation 4 and 5, and PC via Steam.
