Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be arriving earlier than originally anticipated in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. While Nintendo had been saying that the game would be released some time in December, that has now been moved up by a little bit. The new official release date for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U in Europe  will be November 28th with Australia and New Zealand following the day after.

This new date also puts it only one week behind the North American release of the game. However, Japan will still have to wait a little longer, as Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is scheduled to hit there on December 6th. This is a bit different than how the release of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS was handled. That game was available in Japan almost a month ahead of anywhere else. It then was released in North America and Europe at the same time.

While players have had plenty of time to enjoy Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, many are still waiting for the Wii U versions release with great anticipation. It will not only improve the visuals, it will also include tons of exclusive game elements such as more stages, new game modes, and even an increased player count. Nintendo has also given gamers reason to own both versions beyond the exclusive content. Owners of both games will be able to download Mewtwo as a playable fighter for free when he becomes available next year.
